Her meat was posted for sale. Our sanctuary caretaker saw the ad and we immediately purchased Snow. Alive.

A cold season has come and right now it is about 6 degrees Celsius and Snow received a gift from her amazing supporter Suzanne just in time to cozy up in warm clothes!

Snow lives at our sanctuary.

She is only 5, small and skinny little mare who was clearly neglected, because who cares when animal is raised for meat!? So no one paid attention to her well-being. She was not vaccinated and her hooves were in bad shape. Poor baby didn’t know what oats are and when she was offered it she rejoiced like a child.

Snow’s living quarters are summer style and we need to prepare for winter.

We were not prepared to take in a horse and had to convert a dog house for her but it is not suitable for Russian cold winter.

It is time to build a warm well ventilated stable to make sure Snow is comfortable during long winter nights.
