About Hector
Hector was rescued from a situation of abuse and neglect. His owners kept him outside under the scorching sun as a “guard dog.” He was often beaten as he was supposed to guard their marijuana plants, but he failed his duty due to his sweet disposition.
Hector is looking for his loving human to give his big kind heart to, and be a faithful friend and daily companion.
Hector is a 2.5 year-old Dogo Argentino, sweet and mellow, and a very sad boy. Hector loves people but has never been loved by anyone. He deserves his own special human who can bring back the happiness in his eyes and a smile on his face just like before when he was just a tiny puppy full of joy and hope.
Hector was quickly robbed of his puppyhood, however. He was never given toys and was kept isolated and a alone. He is good with dogs but will need guidance to not get carried away during playtime.
Hector is healthy, up to date on vaccinations. He can be transported to the right home.
