THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this happy ending possible! ๐Ÿพ Alya has found her forever home. She won't be working anymoreโ€”she's now a cherished member of the family, nothing less. ๐Ÿ’–So many wonderful people were involved in securing this happily ever after, and we're grateful that one more dog has left the shelter. Alya will experience many 'firsts'โ€”her first toy, her first walk in the woods as a beloved pet, her first true love...๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’• #HappyTails #AdoptDontShop #RescueDog This is Alya's story. Once upon a time, there was a family who owned a Staffordshire Terrier. She earned a decent income by delivering puppies to support the family budget, with giving birth after each heat cycle being her duty. When the family split up, Alya was left with the husband, and she continued her "work," confined to a car. After the owner passed away, a relative picked up pregnant Alya. Once she gave birth to puppies, Alya was thrown out to the streets, and her puppies were sold.#supportrescue #supportlocalvolunteers #staffordshireterrier #lovestartstoday ... See MoreSee Less

Venev CrematoriumWith the help of locals, we've been able to secure eight puppies from the infamous Venev crematorium. Their lives were about to end in the most horrific way before they even had a chance to begin...They all needed thorough vetting, deworming, vaccinations, and nutrition. All of them were in rough shape - hungry, dehydrated, full of bugs, but then, it is to be expected. What we didnโ€™t wish for any of them was to get ill, but unfortunately, one of the pups did the next day. We rushed her to a clinic for testing to figure out what was happening to her. And then a day later our worst nightmare happened - they've all started vomiting and refusing food. All 8 puppies are now hospitalized with Parvovirus. For the past several days, they've been hooked up to IV lines. Thankfully, everyone is alive, though some are feeling better than others. They're not out of the woods yet and we now ask for your help to save them as our hospital bills are mounting rapidly. Every donation makes a difference in giving these innocent souls a chance at life. A long, beautiful, happy life! Please help us if you're able and thank you, as always, for your compassion.๐Ÿ”น Venmo: @biglittlelife๐Ÿ”น PayPal Giving: www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/4413748๐Ÿ”น Web: www.biglittleliferescue.org/donate๐Ÿ”น Zelle: admin@biglittleliferescue.org๐Ÿ”น Cashapp: $biglittlelife๐Ÿ”น Benevity: Big Little Life Animal Rescue ... UPDATE: Miranda โค๏ธWe have great news to share: Miranda is feeling better! She is currently in the care of our experienced volunteer in Georgia, going through testing and quarantine before she can travel to Estonia for treatment and adoption. She is receiving pain medication, antibiotics, and bladder expression as needed. The best news is that she is starting to pee on her own and her sensitivity in the back end is improving! This is a great prognostic indicator, according to our consulting veterinarian. It is becoming more and more likely that Miranda will be able to walk again and function normally. But we need to get her to Estonia as soon as possible to receive the treatment she needs - it is not available in Georgia, and he recovery cannot be completed without surgery and appropriate rehabilitation. Thank you for standing with us in allowing this sweet girl to have a chance - we would not be here without you! Please continue to support Miranda: she is at a critical point of her journey, and your donations will help us make sure that she has a full and happy life.๐Ÿ”น Venmo: @biglittlelife๐Ÿ”น PayPal Giving: www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/4413748๐Ÿ”น Web: www.biglittleliferescue.org/donate๐Ÿ”น Zelle: admin@biglittleliferescue.org๐Ÿ”น Cashapp: $biglittlelife๐Ÿ”น Benevity: Big Little Life Animal Rescue ... Thank you for your support and generosity! Oscar had his surgery. As we had previously known, his leg could not be saved and had to be amputated. The infection was deeper than previously believed and necrotic tissue damage was vast. Poor boy has endured so much pain!Unfortunately, Oscar will need a second amputation surgery. Initial procedure, while necessary, fell short, as advised by our consulting veterinarian. Securing competent veterinary care in rural Russia poses significant challenges, and usually requires transporting an animal thousands of miles to see a certified professional. Oscar needed an emergency surgery and to save his life the volunteer had to go with a local option available immediately. At the moment Oscar is resting and receiving pain medicine and antibiotics. In the next few days weโ€™ll arrange his visits to get the labs done as well as ECG taken to ensure his heart is strong enough to undergo another surgery. His treatment and recovery is expensive, and we are with him for a long haul. Your continued support is crucial as we navigate these obstacles and strive to provide Oscar with the happy, pain-free life he deserves. Please consider contributing to cover the costs of his surgeries and immediate treatment needs. Together, we can give Oscar the chance for a brighter tomorrow. Now, FB allows us to raise money with your engagement. Every "like", comment and share can also benefit the animals we care for. ๐Ÿ”น Venmo: @biglittlelife๐Ÿ”น PayPal Giving: www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/4413748๐Ÿ”น Web: www.biglittleliferescue.org/donate๐Ÿ”น Zelle: admin@biglittleliferescue.org๐Ÿ”น Cashapp: $biglittlelife๐Ÿ”น Benevity: Big Little Life Animal Rescue ...
